In the Model-Based Systems Engineering course, there are team-based projects that offer learners the option to work in groups. The purpose of these projects is to provide an opportunity for systems architects to collaborate and solve problems together, in addition to other benefits such as networking.
The team-based projects offer flexibility in terms of group size and meeting time. There is no requirement for synchronous meetings, meaning that groups are not obligated to meet at the same time. However, many teams choose to use their preferred virtual collaboration tools like Skype, Google Hangout, or WebEx for their meetings. Additionally, some teams make use of the collaboration tool provided within the course to connect and work together on the projects.
