Course participants who successfully complete the Quantum Computing Fundamentals Program, which includes both Course 1: Introduction to Quantum Computing and Course 2: Quantum Algorithms for Cybersecurity, Chemistry, and Optimization, are eligible to receive a total of 4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from MIT.
The breakdown of CEUs by course is as follows:
- Course 1: Introduction to Quantum Computing - 2.0 CEUs
- Course 2: Quantum Algorithms for Cybersecurity, Chemistry, and Optimization - 2.0 CEUs
CEUs are nationally recognized in the United States as a way to document non-credit/non-degree studies. They are accepted by many employers, licensing agencies, and professional associations as evidence of an individual's commitment to professional development. CEUs are based on the number of instructional hours, where 1 CEU is equivalent to 10 hours of instruction.
It's important to note that these CEUs cannot be applied towards any MIT undergraduate or graduate-level courses.
