We estimate that participants in the System Thinking course will need to spend 4-5 hours per week on the course. This estimate includes time spent watching video content, working through course content, and completing assignments.
All of our MIT xPRO courses are delivered online-only. To provide for maximum flexibility in learners' schedules, the video content of the courses is pre-recorded. This means that you can view the content and work on assignments any time of day or day of the week—you do not have to log on at specific times to view the course content.
Optional live-time discussion forum interaction and a live-time Q&A webinar with course instructors are offered at specific dates and times during each course as well. The webinar will be recorded and made available on the course site for learners who are unable to attend live.
All xPRO courses have schedules designed by their instruction teams. Course content only becomes available after the start date of the course and content is then released on a schedule unique to each course—often weekly. Assignment deadlines for coursework are strict. Assignments cannot be submitted late for any reason. The course has a strict end date at which point the live aspects of the course, such as the discussion forums, will close.
