Linear algebra is at the core of quantum computing algorithms and hence basic knowledge of vector and matrix multiplication is a strongly suggested prerequisite. While we provide brief descriptions of the necessary aspects in the course material, we cannot replace pre-reading or having had a course on the subject.
Individuals who are interested in taking MIT xPRO's quantum computing programs may find it helpful to refresh their background in linear algebra using this free course: MIT Open Courseware-Linear Algebra
Learners who would like a refresher on quantum physics may find the MIT Open Courseware - Quantum Physics I course helpful.
Quantum computing programs such as Qiskit are covered in each of the quantum courses as a part of the IBM Q Experience sections. There is no expectation that learners will come with a background in Qiskit.
