To successfully submit an assignment on the MIT xPRO platform, it’s important to follow specific steps. Not adhering to these steps might hinder your ability to submit the assignment. Here is an outline of the necessary steps to effectively submit your assignment:
- Access the Assignment Page: Visit the assignment page well in advance of the deadline.
- Input Text or Upload: Write your response in the box labeled “Your Response (Required).” Alternatively, if you’re uploading an attachment, a simple note such as “Please see the attached document for my assignment” suffices.
- File Upload: Select “Choose File” to upload the file you wish to submit.
- File Description: Add text to the box named “Describe [NAME OF YOUR ASSIGNMENT].docx (required).” This action activates the “Upload file” button.
- Initiate File Upload: Click the “Upload file” button. The platform will process your file, after which the “Submit your response and move to the next step” button will become active.
- Submission Confirmation: Click “Submit your response and move to the next step.” Your response won’t be saved until this step is completed.
- Confirmation Prompt: A pop-up will appear, confirming your submission. Click “Confirm” to proceed.
- Successful Submission: If all steps are completed successfully, the assignment header reading “1 | Your Response” will change from a blue highlight to a green highlight.
- Peer Reviews: Remember, completing peer reviews is still necessary to receive a grade for the assignment.
Note: Once the assignment deadline has passed, attempting to submit the assignment on the course platform will result in the assignment being closed, and submission will no longer be possible.
